The process has started to record the composition I wrote this year entitled 3 Scenes For Reed Quintet (Oboe,Clarinet,Sax,Bassoon,Bass Clarinet).
1. Invention - An absurd looking contraption begins to stir on the workshop table in the middle of the night while dreaming up a purpose for itself.
2. Song Of Anselmo - A solipsistic nobleman tells his story to anyone who will listen until his dying day.
3.Etruscan Two Step - A young couple dances naked high on a hilltop during the twilight of their civilization.
I'm looking forward to working with the ensemble at Composer's Choir again. I can't recommend them enough. Stay tuned.
